About Me

Hi, I'm glad you're here. 

My name is Katie. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist based in Los Angeles County. Since 2008, I have dedicated my time to working in the mental health field. Born and raised in Kern County, I knew at a young age that I wanted to bring healing to others by just being present with them. Upon completing high school, I began working at a faith-based summer camp, counseling children and adolescents. I would soon go on to college gaining my Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies from Life Pacific University. Not long after, I married my husband and we started our family. Currently, I am a graduate of Azusa Pacific University (2018) with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Since 2019, I have been working in Community Mental Health (treating individuals of all ages) with a specialty in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. Interested in finding out more?
